Creative commons allows the less artistic more dimensions to express themselves. I usually have an idea of how I want something to be presented, but my limitation is my lack or artistic ability.
With Creative Commons, I can search for visuals, and audios that are free to use or remix and edit and present them how I see fit. See what I put on the misd23things wiki for an example.
When I do this, I can't call it mine. I call it ours. Although, I really cant say who all the participants are. Just generous individuals that are proud of a piece and want to share it with the world. And I help them in that process
